Is computer-based design analysis (FEM, CFD…) to be performed by an engineering designer (partly) or solely by a design analyst or by both? Help wanted to answer a brief survey.
We would very much appreciate your help and that of your company in answering a few questions on whether and – if so - how and by whom Computer-Based Design Analysis (CBDA) is performed in your company. The survey is part of a larger project at Lund University/Halmstad University in Sweden, aiming to provide a research-grounded concept of CBDA in the industry of tomorrow.

Your participation is highly appreciated!

Hello everyone, Farmingdale State College ASME chapter here, we use Automation Studio to develop ladder logic. Are there other good software packages out there that mechanical engineering students should become aware of ? Thanks
