ASME Florida West Coast Section in partnership with the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers woud like to invite your company to participate in our Engineering Internship Mixer. These societies have joined together to establish a bi-annual Engineering Internship Mixer, with one simple goal - to help Tampa Bay area students gain the practical work experience they so often need. For the past few years the local sections of ASME, IEEE and SME, along with a small number of local companies have helped to facilitate this event with great success. The gathering offers an excellent networking opportunity for both students and professionals alike. Whether your company is actively seeking technical interns or intends to do so over the coming year, your support would be greatly appreciated.
This free event is organized by and for industry, on behalf of our future employees. It is envisioned as an ongoing and robust Tampa Bay tradition. With that in mind, I hope you'll join us on the evening of Tuesday, October 25th, to provide the students in attendance with a two-minute introduction to your company, as well as an opportunity to learn from regional business professionals. In addition to your company's participation, I hope your company will consider offering its financial support for this bi-annual event. A contribution of only $100 per company will enable us to sustain this program, and reliably deliver West Florida students the much-needed practical work experience so important to their future, and ours!
Checks should be payable to "SME Chapter 159" and mailed to:Don Patz, SME Chapter 159 Treasurer13157 88th AveSeminole, FL 33776
