  Registration (OPEN)

Registration will only be open to teams that score the highest in the Qualification event.

Starting this year, student registration for the Human Powered Vehicle Challenge (HPVC) will include full access to the numerous activities of the ASME E-Fest, which the HPVC is now a part of. These three-day, two-night regional events will include a number of activities built around design, advanced manufacturing and robotics technologies, including a number of different ASME competitions, hackathons, fire-side chats with practicing engineers, social activities, and entertainment. Registration fees will also include all meals for participants over the course of the event.

HPVC Vehicle Registration

Regular Registration 8,000 INR

Participant Registration

Early Bird 1,200 INR through January 31, 2017

Regular / on-site 1,500 INR after February 1, 2017

Registration must be completed through an online submission. This link will be posted by the opening date.

Individual registration includes access to participate in all E-fest activities and competitions. Food and housing is not included in the registration fee.

In addition to the individual registration fee, housing (on room sharing basis) in a four star resort and food (3 meals a day at the venue) for three days will cost Rs 2,000 for males and and Rs 1,500 for stay & meals for 3 days in On campus Hostel Rooms on sharing basis  for Female participants.

ASME Membership:

ASME membership will not be required for anyone to register for the HPVC or E-Fest.

Qualification proposals must be submitted by every team that wishes to compete in the HPVC in India. Not all teams will be selected to compete.

Fee: There is no fee to participate in the Qualification event this year.

Travel and Accommodations

Participants are responsible for arranging and funding their own travel and lodging. Please be sure to arrange for your trips in advance - the event begins ON TIME.
