  • ICEF 2021 Call for Papers


    Deadline Abstract Submission Deadline: February 22, 2021

    You still have time to submit an abstract to the 2021 ASME Internal Combustion Engine Fall Technical Conference taking place October 13-15, 2021. ASME’s Internal Combustion Engine Division welcomes scholarly research articles of high technical quality related to the development, advancement, and improvement in understanding of the internal combustion engine.

    The conference will be held virtually October 13-15 and will include technical presentations, keynote speakers, student presentations, and virtual networking sessions.

    Papers should be submitted to one of the following technical tracks:

    Track 1: Large Bore Engines
    Track 2: Fuels
    Track 3: Advanced Combustion
    Track 4: Powertrain and Emissions Systems
    Track 5: Fuel Injection and Sprays
    Track 6: Numerical Simulation
    Track 7: Engine Design and Mechanical Development

    Accepted papers that are presented at the conference will be archived through ASME. Presentation of papers at the conference requires a paid registration. Papers not presented will be excluded from the conference proceedings, and will not be published nor archived.

    Accepted papers must transfer copyright to ASME, with certain exceptions. Review the ASME ICE Division's Presentation Policy and ASME copyright policy.

    Paper Category: Scholarly Research Article

    A scholarly research article is meant to provide high-level details of original research centered on hypothesis-based reasoning and a methodical approach to discovering new scientific and/or technical knowledge.
