Tuesday, April 21, 2015 Engineering Public Policy Symposium: B338-339-340 Rayburn House Office Building, Capitol Hill; 8:30am-1:00pm
ASME has led the development and implementation of the annual “Engineering Public Policy Symposium” for the past several years. Society leaders from 44 engineering organizations will cosponsor and attend this multi-disciplinary public policy event. The Symposium is the only event that brings together leaders of the engineering community to engage with public policy makers on issues of interest to the profession. We will be inviting Administration officials, Members of Congress and Congressional staff to join us to discuss “Big Data, Energy and Manufacturing: Policy Priorities for the 1st Session of the 114th Congress.”
Congressional Visits: Capitol Hill; 1:00pm-5:00pm
During the afternoon, interested members will have an opportunity to meet with their Members of Congress to advocate for issues of importance to ASME and the engineering community. Congressional Visits will be organized by ASME Government Relations. Background materials for your visits will be provided to participating ASME members—and other Symposium attendees—in early April 2015.
