Mechanical Engineering Research Scholar
South Dakota State University, May 2014 to Present

Researching the effects of fluid dynamics on objects using Star-CCM+ v8.2 by Cd-Adapco. The title of my research is "Development of Pulsatile Blood Flow Model". It focuses on the shear stress affects of blood flow on the walls of the lower aorta during a typical pulse. The next stage of the project is to apply the non-Newtonian properties of blood to the pulsatile model.

Lean Manufacturing Student
Daktronics, October 2013 to May 2014

As a Lean Manufacturing Student, I have learned how to apply LEAN concepts to a wide variety of manufacturing techniques. These include anything from hand placed components to fully automated processes. Have a LEAN experience has shown me how to think of the future while planning for today's manufacturing processes.

Student Process Engineer
Daktronics, August 2012 to October 2013

While at Daktronics, I spent time designing helpful additions to the current High Mix Flow Line which produces digital displays as well as other circuit boards. I do this using AutoCAD and ProE Creo Parametric 2.
