Manager for Portland Valve engineering department. Performed engineering reviews of all defense industry contracts. Assemble bill of material and assembly instructions for manufacturing department. Assessment of repair procedures for manufacturing and customer product rebuild. Responsible for engineering document management in accordance with defense industry policy.

Engineer and design large product handling equipment for the long rolling steel industry. Managed multiple designers and drafters on large scale products. Worked with controls and electrical personnel to automate machinery and improve standard equipment. Supported design team by calculating power requirements and strength analysis. Performed FEA analysis on load bearing structures. Performed failure analysis to troubleshoot installed machinery. Four patents for new machine concepts.
