Responsible for configuring energy consumption monitoring equipment in the individual stores as well as the corporate facilities. Developed new HMI's using Microsoft Visio that store maintenance personnel use to monitor electrical consumption at remote locations. Responsible for the design and fabrication of five training units that simulate a building/refrigeration control system. The panels were designed using AutoCAD and sent to a precision metal fabricator for completion. Worked with part suppliers to secure all of the components needed to build a working building/refrigeration control system. Retrofitted self-contained refrigerated cases for an in store wireless monitoring system beta test. This projected consisted of removing the existing mechanical timer and thermostat and installing a digital controller able to communicate via a wireless Modbus protocol module. Numerous cases were retrofitted to communicate with the refrigeration control system which was then able to be monitored remotely by store maintenance personnel.
