Project Engineer - Southeast Rail Extension Project

Plan, arrange, and drive completion of Track, Signal, and Communications scopes. Direct operations of four subcontractors, performing scheduling and material procurement to maintain progress in the field. Connect with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain open lines of communication for the estimation, negotiation, and completion of change orders.  Appointed to manage $10M budget for design, construction, and testing of train control systems.  Delivered end-to-end management of communications project spanning 20 miles, developing, building, and commissioning design with an operating budget of $1M.  Following demonstration of in-depth job knowledge, served as one of four engineers selected by company to ensure completion of high-value projects on time and under budget.

Liaised with ARB and the EPA to establish testing procedures in compliance with emissions regulations.  Conceptualized, created, and implemented user-friendly tracking system to enhance visibility of government emissions documentation for Light, Mid-Range, and Heavy-Duty teams to use in testing manufactured engines.
