In this role I am the engineer responsible for steam generator replacement for Bruce Power's Major Component Replacement program. My duties include establishing project design and technical requirements, preparing engineering documents, preparing engineering estimates and schedules, generating and implementing risk management plans, and reporting project progress. Contractor interface and oversight is a key part of this role. In this capacity I review contractor prepared designs and documents for conformance with requirements and business needs.

In this role I planned and executed performance based assessments of nuclear plant operations. The assessments I carried out involved activities such as performing interviews with facility staff, observing staff behaviours, and reviewing documentation. Actual performance and results were compared with industry best practices and results. Based on observations and comparisons, I provided insights on any gaps that existed in specific performance areas.
