ASME Government Relations represents and advocates for the engineering profession by initiating and facilitating various programs and activities, including: ASME’s Public Policy Agenda (Policy Issues); Washington Policy Updates; ASME Capitol Update; Position Statements; Action Alerts, Congressional Briefings; Multi-disciplinary Engineering Public Policy Symposium, an Inter-Sector Committee on Federal R&D, ASME Federal Government Fellowship Program; a newly established ASME State Fellowship Program; and Washington Internships for Students of Engineering. ASME members at all stages of their careers have an opportunity to help "Engineer the Greater Good!" by applying their engineering expertise and pragmatic problem-solving approach to the development of sound public policy.
