To design, document, and construct a vehicle capable of autonomously following the path of a rope. My role for our small group was to organized meetings, created 3D models in Siemens Solid Edge, advised and set format for generating design drawings, and work jointly in fabricating and assembling parts. Use of repurposed parts allowed us to complete a functional drone capable of following a rope’s path, with a load of about 5 lbs, with a total cost of less than $100.
