September, 2020 - June, 2021
Competed in 2021 Collegiate Wind Competition with Wind Power Club at Cal Poly; needed to create a small operational wind turbine that could generate electricity. Worked with Mechanical and Aero teams to design, manufacture, and test several components such as the: nose cone, generator mount, actuator mounts, and drive shaft using: Solidworks, Fusion 360, Mathcad, 3-D printing, etc. Our club placed 3rd in the competition and I was offered a leadership role for the upcoming school year.
