Design Analysis of Armoured Cover Plate for Fuel Tank of APC using Finite Element Analysis  by  Muhammad Faran, Muhammad Abrar    
August, 2013 - Present
It was a group project assigned to me during my 6 week internship at Heavy Industries Taxila. Armoured Personnel carrier named "APC SAAD" is designed and manufactured at armoured personnel carrier manufacturing facility at Heavy Industries Taxila. We were assigned to perform design analysis for the fuel tank's cover plate using Ansys 14.0. We modeled the plate using data from paper drawing in Creo Parametric 2.0. The plate model was imported in Ansys 14.0 and analysis were performed. Analysis results were verified by practical data obtained after firing real time bullets on plate.

Design and Fabrication of Motor wire winding machine  by  Muhammad Faran

As a semester project for the course "Design of Machine Elements" I Designed and Fabricated a motor wire winding machine using Gear train of spur gear. The machine was efficient in a way that by applying 5 turns at the input 75 turns at the output were obtained.
