Support engineers with design process updates, drawing maintenance, and data reduction in he Casing group.

President - UCF Student Chapter
American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), May 2013 to May 2014

As President of our ASME section at UCF, I have devoted a great amount of time and learned a good deal about leadership and working with volunteers. Our group committed to hosting the 2014 Human Powered Vehicle Competition at UCF. We also designed and fabricated large mobile, two level stands for our past vehicles. We designed and fabricated a go-kart from scratch, finished in December 2013. I have also attended dozens our outreach, student government, and recruitment events for the section.

American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), April 2013 to May 2014

In charge of planning Student Professional Development Conference for 2014. I also work with our SDOB team to reach out to students in our district and attend district and international conferences.

Research Assistant (S. Vasu)
University of Central Florida, December 2012 to December 2013

I learned about the basics of several fuel characterization methods from laser spectroscopy to schlieren photography and designed facility equipment to apply this knowledge. After helping with the completion of the mechanical design of a mixing tank project, I led the design of a combustion vessel. This vessel is optically accessibly and can withstand extreme temperature, pressure, and corrosive environments.

CWEP Participant in Test Engineering Package Design and Fabrication
Lockheed Martin, May 2012 to December 2013

In Package design, I documented and updated hundreds of drawings. This drawings included mechanical, electrical, labeling, and safety information to fully fabricate test equipment. In the several months spent in Fabrication, I built several tools from drawings and learned about the iterative process in fabrication and design.

Treasurer - UCF Student Chapter
American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), May 2012 to May 2013

Facilitated funding from SGA and ASME Florida section Led Fundraising and got back pay from previous organization issues. Received money from ASME national for various Travel reimbursements Attended 10 Freshman Orientation events to get students involved w/ ASME

Vice Chair of Community - Student District Operating Board - District F
American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), April 2012 to April 2013
