Physical Modeling Engineer
The MathWorks, November 2013 to Present

Research Associate
PerkinElmer Health Sciences Canada, Inc., June 2012 to May 2013

• Led project to numerically model spray injector and aerosol delivery system in mass spectrometry technology to identify the main factors in design optimization. • Work led to an experimental initiative to develop a new design of spray injectors to increase the evaporation efficiency of aerosols in mass spectrometry instruments.

Research Assistant
Centre for Advanced Coating Technologies (CACT), University of Toronto, January 2008 to April 2013

• Created a numerical platform for design and optimization of the process of carbon nanotube production by radio frequency inductively coupled plasma (RF-ICP) technology for National Research Council (NRC) of Canada’s Steacie Institute for Molecular Sciences, and University of Sherbrooke. • Identified the limiting factors in the yield rate of carbon nanotubes in RF-ICP technology and developed a computational model to analyze the system’s initial re-design development.
