HVAC for new construction projects such as high rise mixed use buildings. Design of systems included factory built residential heat pumps, floor air handling units horizontal DX AC units. More complex systems have included built up custom air handling units of up to 120,000 CFM.

Mixed use residential with water source heat pumps for the apartment units and chilled water fan coils for the lower retail and commercial portion. Building contains combined heat and power plant which supplies power to base building load and provides hot water for absorption chiller operation and building heating.

730 Fifth Ave-Crown Building  by

Commercial building at the corner of 5th ave and 57th street in Manhattan. Full conversion from an office building to retail, hotel and high end residential. Building system is a 4-pipe fan coil system with (3) 500 ton chillers on the 4th floor and the cooling tower on the roof of 15th. Con Ed steam is used to produce heating hot water through shell and tube heat exchangers.

Flood mitigation project which relocated the Con Ed steam rig of the building to a location above the flood plain. Con Ed steam rig and building PRV station were rebuilt in new location above the flood plain. Con Ed steam meters were upgraded.

Performed study to assess the feasibility of replacing current steam heating system of building to hydronic hot water system. Entire steam system was surveyed and hot water system was designed to capacity of existing system.

626 Sheepshead Bay Rd  by

Multi story retail and office building. Building system is a condenser water system with a 3 cell cooling tower. Core office spaces are served by 33 ton water cooled DX units with economizer coils and hot water coils.
