Thirty-five students participated at this year’s ASME-Milwaukee Student Night. Four student sections participated in the event. They were: Marquette, MSOE, UWM and Madison. Each section updated the professional members on their past year’s activities.
After the student presentations, one of the professional members gave a presentation of his own. Douglas Kiesling, Chief Engineer at GE Power in Waukesha, gave a presentation on New Product Design Process and Review. This overview presentation was to help soon-to-be graduates on employer’s expectations of new product development and its related review process. It was an interactive presentation in which various members gave their perspective on the topic as well.
The ASME Milwaukee Section will be holding an educational program on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at MSOE in the Grohmann Tower 4th Floor Conference Room.
This is a half-day program put on by the ASME-MIlwaukee Section for the benefit of ASME Members and their guests as well as any Professional Engineer.
