  • ASME Milwaukee Student Night - April 14, 2021

    Registration is now open for student night.  Support our student chapters with your attendance as they summarize their activities--MSOE, UWM, Marquette, UW-Madison and Michigan Tech. will participate.  In addition, our panel of professional engineers will be available to answer student questions for obtaining a professional engineering license.

  • ASME Milwaukee Webinar - Session 2

    The conclusion of our March technical seminar was held on Saturday, March 27,2021, with fourteen members participating.  As usual, Subha Kumpaty brought fresh topics to the agenda with a presentation on harmonic excitation applications.  Next up, from California, was Marco Scanu, who covered IBC certification of equipment.  Thank you to our speakers--and, to Subha Kumpaty for planning this seminar.  For further information on the presentations:

  • ASME Milwaukee Webinar - March 20th, 2021

    Reflecting back to one year ago--our March 2020 seminar was held in person.  Since then, life has changed.  Instead of sharing our passion for learning in person, the first session was held virtually this past Saturday from 9 - 11 AM.  First we learned about pneumatic equipment--application, maintenance, problems and basic technology.  Special thanks to our presenter Douglas Lauer from SMC Corporation.  Please view the presentation here:

    Next we traveled to Qatar to learn about a successful K-12 STEM outreach program.  This was really an impressive program--thanks to Dr. Mohamed Gharib from Texas A&M University at Qatar.  Members can view the presentation here.
