The Petroleum Division (PD) of ASME strives to be the essential resource for mechanical engineers and other technical professionals in the oil and gas industry.

Collegiate Council Application

Deadline for submission each calendar year is typically late August (3rd Week of the month). Decisions about acceptance will be made in the beginning of September.

Application for Collegiate Council can be found HERE (Applications are accepted year round)

Applications will be reviewed by the Petroleum Division Collegiate Council Mentors. Recipients who have acknowledged acceptance will also be posted on the collegiate council website.

First meeting is typically held a Thursday -Sunday in October/November.

Second meeting is typically held on Thursday-Sunday in March/April.

Location of meetings to be determined once Council is selected. You must be a member of ASME to apply for the Collegiate Council. (The ASME Student membership is $25.)
