ABSTRACT: Reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) involves the utilization of statistical tools and processes to best maintain and improve assets in order to reduce disruptions, costs, and impact on product quality. This presentation will provide a real-world view into the roles and responsibilities available to engineers from a variety of disciplines across a diverse landscape of career paths and provide insight into the best practices and tools available to make sound engineering based judgments regarding asset management. Lessons learned and future trends in reliability engineering will be discussed.
