    Hello ASME Philadelphia Members, 

    Our Seminar Series on Clean Reliable Modern Energy will be our next Zoom discussion.Jess C. Gehin, Ph. D. will talk about Nuclear energy has been a significant provider of clean energy current generating 20% of the nation’s electricity and 55% of the nation’s low-carbon electricity. Currently, there are 93operating light water reactors with several recently being retired early and two reactors under construction at the Vogtle site in Georgia. This talk will provide an overview of the ongoing efforts to enable the development of advanced nuclear reactor systems.
