SPEAKER:Dr. Gennaro "Jerry" Marino, Ph.D., P.E., D.GE
SPEAKER'S BIOGRAPHY:
He is also the chairman of the American Bar Associations Expert Witness Civil Engineering subcommittee and a member of the ASCE Forensic Engineering Divisions Committee on Practices to Reduce Failures. Dr. Marino has researched and consulted on all aspects of subsidence engineering with government agencies, engineering and architectural firms, surface owners, as well as pipeline, insurance and mining companies.
SUMMARY OF TOPIC:
Ground movement, subsidence and backfill can slowly cause catastrophic pipeline issues. Several case histories will illustrate the means to monitor and mitigate such potential pipeline anomalies.
