  • TEC Sector Now Accepting Vice Chair (2) & Member-at-Large (2) Nominations Deadline Extended

    Become a Vice Chair or Member-at-Large for the TEC Sector

    The ASME Technical & Engineering Communities (TEC) Sector is seeking nominees for the positions of (2) Vice Chairs (VC) & (2) Members-at-Large (MAL).  The position description and terms are as follows:

    The Vice Chair represents the Senior Vice President (SVP) upon absence, while having the skill and experience necessary to communicate and execute ASME strategy. This necessitates significant interaction with the SVP, ASME staff, and the volunteers of ASME to ensure that key performance metrics are met.

    • Vice Chair 1 (3-year term) 2021-2024
    • Vice Chair 2 (2-year term) 2021-2023

    The Member-at-Large shall address tasks assigned by the SVP of importance to member engagement and recognition. This implies an ability to engage and oversee task forces or committees that align ASME directives with member desires (e.g., Honors & Awards).

    • Member-at-Large 1 (2-year term) 2021-2023
    • Member-at-Large 2 (1-year term) 2021-2023

    The Nomination Packet offers detailed guidance for preparing and submitting nominations. Completed Nomination Packets should be submitted in electronic PDF format by Friday, May 21, 2021 to asmetec@asme.org 5:00 PM EDT

  • TEC Sector Now Accepting Senior Vice President Nominations

    Become a Senior Vice President for the TEC Sector

    The ASME Technical & Engineering Communities (TEC) Sector is seeking nominees for the position of Senior Vice President.  This individual will preside over the TEC Sector for a term of three years, beginning July 1, 2022 and ending June 30, 2025.  You may nominate yourself or another ASME member.  

    The nomination packet offers detailed guidance for preparing and submitting nominations. Completed Nomination Packets should be submitted in electronic PDF format by April 2, 2021 to asmetec@asme.org.
