  • ASME Technical Events & Content (TEC) Sector Call for Leaders

The Technical Events and Content (TEC) Sector represents a partnership between volunteers and staff utilizing the strengths of each to focus on:

    • Developing and disseminating content through a variety of live and virtual delivery platforms, including conferences, events, and publications; and
    • Utilizing market expertise and intelligence to assist ASME in identifying new opportunities for ASME in key market segments.

The TEC Sector is always looking for leaders eager to best serve constituents and move ASME forward.  We are continuously soliciting candidates for our TEC Sector Council and our Segment Leadership Teams (SLTs).

The role of the Council and Segment Leadership Teams (SLTs) is to improve our existing conferences, develop new conferences, and begin working across the enterprise to identify new products, programs and services to meet identified needs of key stakeholders in each market segment. Leaders partner with professional staff to coordinate all product and content development and delivery.

For more information on the Segments and Segment Leaders, please download and view the Description of the Segments & Segment Leader Qualifications documents.

If you are interested in applying for a position, please download the TEC Sector Nomination Packet & Instructions. Please remember to enable editing, complete the information on the form and save it to your computer. Please return your completed package to asmetec@asme.org or a designated staff contact.

Please share this information and request for nominations with your colleagues and within your units to identify the most qualified and passionate candidates. All documents are available under the Resources area of this group.
