The Department of Mechanical Engineering in the Charles V. Schaefer, Jr. School of Engineering and Science (SES) at Stevens Institute of Technology (Stevens) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the area of acoustics, including, but not limited to, acoustical measurements and analysis, noise characterization and nonlinear sound propagation, outdoor sound propagation, and human perception of sound. An existing anechoic chamber is available to serve as the foundation for a new lab facility.
